Founded in 1964, the Buffalo Gateway Chorus is a proud and award-winning nonprofit organization based in Western New York, composed of 80 talented women singers. In 2024, we celebrated our 60th anniversary, and our passion for music continues to thrive!
For over six decades, the Buffalo Gateway Chorus has stood out as a dedicated and competitive ensemble, performing 4-part a cappella harmony in the barbershop style. Our commitment to music, education, and community has earned us numerous accolades and a respected place in the Western New York choral scene.
We invite you to reignite your passion for singing by joining us any Wednesday night from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m. Experience the unparalleled energy, musical excellence, and camaraderie that define the Buffalo Gateway Chorus—there's nothing quite like it in Western New York!
Important Weather Update – Rehearsal Schedule Change
Due to the unpredictable and inclement Buffalo weather, Buffalo Gateway’s in-person rehearsals on Wednesday, January 21 and Wednesday, January 28 will be held via Zoom instead.
Guests are welcome to join us online! Please email sendula@aol.com to request the Zoom link.
Our regular in-person rehearsals will resume on Wednesday, February 4, at our usual location:
