Our high-energy, award-winning women’s barbershop chorus is always looking for passionate singers to join our vibrant musical community.
No Need to Read Music—We've Got You Covered!
If reading music isn’t your strength, don’t worry! Buffalo Gateway Show Chorus welcomes women of all musical backgrounds, and you don’t need to be a pro to join us. We offer vocal training to help you learn and grow, and you’ll have access to some of the best coaches right here on our risers. Whether at home, in the car, or during rehearsal, you’ll develop your barbershop skills with support from our expert musical team. We use a variety of teaching methods to accommodate all learning styles, ensuring everyone has the opportunity to succeed. Once the music is learned, we invite world-renowned barbershop coaches to work with us, guiding us to reach our highest musical potential.

Rehearsals Are Open!
We rehearse every Wednesday from 7:00 PM to 9:45 PM, and our rehearsals are always open to new faces. Whether you’re ready to jump in or just want to see what we’re all about, we’d love for you to visit us and experience the magic of barbershop singing.
The Audition Process
Our audition process is simple and supportive:
- You’ll sing a short song (like “Happy Birthday”) in private with one of our directing team members, who will help determine your voice part.
- You’ll receive a music folder with our current repertoire to follow along with the sheet music.
- When you’re ready, you’ll audition by singing your part with a quartet that you’ve practiced with in front of our music committee.
We’re here to help every step of the way, so don’t hesitate to ask for guidance as you prepare.
